WILMINGTON, North Carolina—June 6, 2017—Nuclear energy industry experts from around the world are gathered in Wilmington for an annual symposium hosted by Global Nuclear Fuel (GNF). Attendees include fuel design, fuel reliability and boiling water reactor engineers from several nuclear power plant operators in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

More than 30 engineers and operators are participating in the two-day event at the Coastline Conference and Event Center in Wilmington. The symposium includes more than 20 technical presentations on topics that cover recent and upcoming regulatory changes and issues that impact the design and reliability of boiling water reactor fuel and plant operations.
